Product Description
Wouldn’t it be great if we were born with instruction manuals? Each one would be different based on what we needed to learn, but the basics would be the same: how to create healthy relationships, how to deal with sorrow and pain, how to reach our goals, and how to know what we want to do with our lives when we grow up. We would continue to receive our own unique life lessons, but we would have a manual to refer to when feeling overwhelmed or lost. In this book, based on the popular Website DailyOM (www.dailyom.com), co-founder Madisyn Taylor seamlessly weaves together her award-winning inspirational thoughts with her achingly honest personal story, revealing the inspiration behind many of the DailyOM messages that touch millions of people every day. Learning to Live is the next best thing to a personal instruction manual: a guiding light to reassure us that we’re on the right path, and to help fix us when we feel broken.

Refreshing reminder March 26, 2010 jenny_jo (Saginaw, TX) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
While most of the information in Taylor's book is "golden rule" common sense, it is the type of information that we easily forget when we become consumed by a daily grind or rut. Reminding ourselves of our worth, our uniqueness, our ability to inspire drowns in our need to raise family and pay bills. Taylor's book is the antidote. It does not preach, brag, or condescend. Instead, it is full of necessary, yet compassionate daily reminders that can make you soar above the ruts and realize the ease and joy that life can hold. Highly recommended for self and to give as gifts.
Daily OM, Learning to Live by Madisyn Taylor March 20, 2010 Penny blanchard (San Diego, Ca.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Daily OM, Learning to live is a true gift for living. It is also a wonderful gift to
give to another. Beautiful thoughts to concentrate on for starting your day or for
winding down with in the evening. It is something you can pick up for just a few
minutes or a few hours and come away inspired and happy you live here on this planet
Earth. I will treasure my copy, always and enjoy knowing just the gift to give for many
special occasions to many people from different walks of live.

Daily Om Learning to Live March 22, 2010 Kim Moris (Ventura, CA) This is an inspirational book filled with insightful meanings to everyday occurrances. The information is not preachy it comes from a loving place of knowing like the insights your mother or a valued friend might gift. Highly recommended!
Blessed March 26, 2010 Danielle Gibbons (Ashland Oregon) Madisyn Taylor has done it again, only better. Not only did I get a well thought out placement of the DailyOm stories, but I loved reading Madisyn's life stories. She is courageous in her ability to convey difficult experiences with hope. I'd recommend this to all!
